Call for Presentations - Now Open

Deadline for submission: Wednesday, December 8, 2010. 5:00 p.m. PDT.

The Call for Presentations is now posted at: http://cfp.fose.com

The FOSE Conference & Exposition serves government agency program and project executives, CIOs, chief technology officers, network administrators, information technology managers, engineers, purchasing and training managers seeking new and improved solutions for managing and operating civilian, defense, state and local government agencies.  FOSE also serves technology and business development executives and professionals doing business with government agencies.

We welcome presentation proposals that provide meaningful, actionable insights about technology development for government IT decision makers.  In particular, we are looking for presentations that detail use-case studies, lessons learned, or emerging trends that are relevant to managers operating large-scale government agency operations or public-private programs. The FOSE Program team is seeking proposals that focus on (but are not limited to) the following topics:

  • Enabling the Mobile Government Workforce – Harnessing mobile Web apps, social media and emerging wireless technologies for more effective government.
  • Cyber Security, Network Defense and Information Assurance – Proven tactics and technologies for protecting government information systems.
  • Next-Generation Infrastructure Strategies – Practical approaches for moving to consolidated data centers and private clouds while also supporting workers and warfighters on the move.
  • The Federal IT Agenda for 2012 and Beyond – Emerging federal productivity and IT acquisition strategies. How cloud computing, collaboration, Web apps, dashboards and other productivity tools—and tough budget choices—will redefine how IT gets done in government regardless of the upcoming election outcome.
  • Defense Innovations – What the military has learned about deploying mobile and ad-hoc networks, ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance) systems, analytic and collaboration tools, and other innovations that could be applied at civilian, state and local, non-governmental and relief organizations.

Vendor/supplier submissions must have a customer co-present or present a case study and may not contain product-specific information or commercial/promotional content.
