There are now at least five major CSS/JavaScript web toolkits on the market that focus on building mobile web apps that look native on iPhone and Android. These include jQTouch (which ships with Rhodes and most existing Rhodes developers are using), Sencha, JQuery Mobile, IUI, and SproutCore/Strobe. Occasionally we have been getting questions about whether these toolkits are competitive with Rhodes. Actually, they are only complementary and help to improve the user interface. During this week's webinar, we will demonstrate how to write a simple CRM app with Rhodes using Sencha to style the views.
