 | Ahhh, summer. Beating the heat with swimming pools, ice cream, and air conditioners. At Adobe, the summer tends to be the lull before the storm. Looking back, it's been an exciting ride. We've seen Adobe® Flash® technology on devices become a reality. We've seen the beginnings of Adobe AIR® for Android™. Adobe Creative Suite® 5 was released to rave reviews. And we got to see some sneak peeks of the next generation of Flex. This month, we've had a few bits of news. The Open Source Media Framework launched and includes some cool things, like Strobe Media Playback, which makes it easy to play video from almost anywhere. The next few months are going to be even more interesting as these products start to mature and people start to build multiscreen applications. I encourage you to join us at Adobe MAX this year where you can see the latest and greatest from Adobe in design, development, and even in the enterprise. I've been heavily involved in the planning for MAX this year, and I can tell you that we have a great story to tell. To me, it feels like multiscreen development and a great designer-developer workflow are finally a reality, and Flash developers are going to be well equipped to create RIAs across screens. The Early Bird pricing ends September 15 and it's the last chance to save US$200. So if you haven't registered yet, do it now so you can join us as we ride the wave of momentum we've built up this summer. And while you're at it, make sure you get one last vacation in before the fun starts. If you're an RIA developer, you are going to have a very busy fall and winter.
